As the fracking industry as grown in Western Pennsylvania so to has its waste, which is radioactive, and contains heavy metals and other toxins. Today, the fracking industry doesn’t know what to do with all of the toxic waste it creates. Municipalities from Cyclone to Plum have had fracking waste dumped in their backyards. To better prepare communities we are holding a training with Food & Water Watch – Pennsylvania on zoom on April 30th at 7 pm for Municipal Leaders and community members to learn what their powers are protect their communities from toxic fracking waste.
