Birds & Blooms Hike

Join Mountain Watershed Association in the Indian Creek Valley Gorge for a special hike on the Indian Creek Valley Trail, where expert birders and botanists will show you the wonders of this unique ecosystem in the springtime!
We’ll walk from the Camp Christian parking lot (extended parking available a short walk away, at the Steyer Bridge parking area), past the reservoir, and into the gorge. You’ll hear and see a wide variety of bird species and springtime ephemerals blooming along the trail.
The walk will be 2-3 miles long. Please dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, and bring binoculars if you have them! MWA has a limited number of binoculars and field guides to share.
